Mark has over 40 years’ experience in the energy industry and has been engaged in many areas within the electrical sector, including Strategy, Regulation, Operations Management, Asset Management and Business Transformation. He is currently responsible for leading the asset management and operations teams at SA Power Networks, ensuring the South Australian distribution network remains safe, reliable, and is well positioned to support customers’ new needs, as South Australia transitions to a decentralised, decarbonised energy system. He is a Director, and chairs the Corporate Governance Committee, of ElectricSuper. Mark is also a member of the AEMC Reliability Panel, responsible for monitoring, and providing advice, in relation to the safety, security and reliability of the national electricity system.
