Sam Lynch is a Senior Manager for Regulatory Affairs and Market Development – APAC at Kraken. Sam supports Kraken and its clients in navigating the intricacies of Asia-Pacific’s evolving energy markets and regulatory frameworks. He excels at translating complex policy into tangible commercial results, drawing on his extensive background in the energy and financial services industries. Sam has a strong interest in the decarbonisation of electricity grids and how utilities can better integrate energy flexibility into their operations. Prior to Kraken, Sam specialised in energy sector commercial advisory and transactions at KPMG and held a regulatory affairs role at the Australian Energy Market Operator.
