Dominique van den Berg

Dominique van den Berg is the Chief Executive of Energy Networks Australia (ENA), the industry body representing Australia’s electricity transmission and distribution and gas distribution networks. She commenced this role in 2023, bringing over two decades of international experience in the energy sector.

Born and raised in South Africa, Dominique’s career has taken her across the globe, including positions in the United Kingdom, Kazakhstan, Singapore, and Australia. Her extensive experience includes leading BG Group’s operations in South and East Asia, contributing to Shell’s energy transition initiatives in Australia, and leading AGL’s distributed energy business.

Dominique holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of South Africa and an MBA from Warwick University in the UK. She is also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Beyond her executive role, Dominique is a Non-Executive Director at The Pinnacle Foundation, supporting LGBTQIA+ youth through education scholarships. She is also a member of the Champions of Change Energy Group, advocating for gender equality and increased representation of women in leadership within the energy sector.

Residing on the Mornington Peninsula with her partner, Michele, and their two young children. Dominique is committed to positioning ENA as a balanced, informed voice through Australia’s energy transition.
