Here’s what you need to know to make travelling to Australia as smooth as possible.
Entry requirements
All international travellers – except citizens of Australia and New Zealand – must hold a valid visa before arriving in Australia.
Step 1:
Register to attend EN26
Once you’ve registered and paid to attend EN26, you’ll receive an acknowledgement letter. You can include this in your visa application as supporting documentation.
Step 2:
Apply for your visa
Use the Visa Finder from the Department of Home Affairs to determine which visa best suits your visit.
When to apply
Apply for your visa as early as possible after registering for EN26. While some applications are processed quickly, others may take several weeks depending on your location and visa type.
We recommend applying at least 6–8 weeks before your planned arrival in Australia.
