Lingsong Zheng is Head of Network Innovation and Performance at WEL Networks, leading data driven innovation, LV analytics and DSO capability that lift DER hosting, power quality, and resilience. An Electrical Engineer by training with postgraduate study in advanced power protection and business management, Lingsong is a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) with nearly two decades in electricity distribution. He has held senior engineering roles at Aurora Energy and Wellington Electricity, where he received the EEA Conference Award in 2018. His work blends planning, protection and operations with change management, turning data and analysis into field execution and measurable outcomes.
