Dr. James Hazelton is a Renewable Energy engineer and industry leader who has worked across private sector, academia, international development and networks. He joined Endeavour in 2021 recognizing the critical role the electricity distribution network is set to play in the energy transition. He has been involved in establishing Endeavour’s programs for energy storage, the Bawley Point Community microgrid, and coordinated the regulatory proposals for customer energy resource integration – he manages a team running Endeavour’s Innovation and Future Networks projects including community batteris, Flexible Exports for rooftop solar, residential electrification (including Electrify 2515), and the electrification of transport.
