Hugo is a Manager and Head of Sydney office at Blunomy with over 10 years of experience in energy, strategy, and private equity. He has worked extensively on bioenergy, advising financial institutions, developers, gas networks, and government agencies on unlocking the value of bioenergy and low-carbon liquid fuels. Notably, Hugo led the “Vision for Biogas in New Zealand” report, commissioned by Clarus, Powerco, and Ecogas, which outlined a possible roadmap for the biogas and biomethane sector to 2050. This landmark study was developed in response to a New Zealand Government consultation aimed at advancing biogas’s role in the country’s energy transition.
