Brett Redman, CEO of Transgrid since November 2021, is leading the delivery of Australia’s largest transmission projects to enable the nation’s energy super-highways. With over 30 years’ leadership experience, including nearly 15 at AGL Energy as CEO and Managing Director, he is driving innovation and early investment to prepare for 100% instantaneous renewable power. A former Chair of the Australian Energy Council, Brett champions building both social licence and the bottom line. He works closely with communities to ensure the energy market remains reliable, affordable and sustainable, and as a member of the Champions of Change Coalition, advances gender equality.
