Brett Redman is CEO of Transgrid Group, appointed in November 2021 to lead the delivery of the nation’s energy super-highways across Australia’s largest transmission projects. With more than 30 years in the energy sector, including nearly 15 years at AGL Energy where he became CEO and Managing Director in 2018, Brett combines operational and strategic expertise and works with communities, industry and government to enable a reliable, affordable and sustainable energy system. He is also the former Chair of the Australian Energy Council and currently serves on the Board of Energy Networks Australia where he chairs the ENA Policy and Strategy Committee. He has recently been appointed to the Infrastructure Partnerships Australia Advisory Board.
