When and where is EN26?
EN26 will take place from Tuesday 17 – Thursday 19 March 2026 at the Adelaide Convention Centre.

How do I register, and what are my ticket options?
When do tickets go on sale?
Tickets will be available from 24 June 2025.
What are the ticket options and what is included?
- All Access Pass – Full conference access, the Innovation Hall, and all networking events (Welcome Drinks & Connections, Wired—In Dinner, and Farewell Drinks & Future Connections). Includes meals during conference hours.
- Exhibitor Pass – Includes access to the Innovation Hall and select networking drinks (Wednesday & Thursday, if applicable). Option to purchase tickets to attend the Wired—In Dinner and Farewell Drinks & Future Connections are available.
Who can access member rates?
Only employees of an Energy Networks Australia member, associate or affiliate organisation can access member rates.
⚠️ Important:
- If you are not a member, you must register at the non-member rate.
- To check eligibility or learn about the affiliate program, visit the Energy Networks Australia website or email info@energynetworks.com.au.
Does registration include dinner or other functions?
The Wired—In Dinner is the signature gathering for an evening of industry connection and celebration. The Wired—In Dinner, Welcome Drinks and Connections, Networking Drinks and Farewell Drinks and Connections tickets are included in most All Access Pass registrations.
Additional social event tickets are available for separate purchase:
- Wired—In Dinner: $250 per person
- Welcome Drinks and Connections: $150 per person
- Networking Drinks: $150 per person
- Farewell Drinks and Connections: $150 per person
Tickets for these events can be purchased during the online registration process. Social Event tickets are only available to delegates, speakers and exhibitors registered to attend the event.
How do I register?
A registration link will be available on the EN26 website from 24 June 2025.
Can I transfer my registration?
Yes, you can nominate a substitute attendee up to 28 days before the event. To do so, please email info@en26.com.au.
What if I need to cancel my registration?
The conference administration team is available to discuss your options. Please contact info@en26.com.au.
Can I register onsite?
Yes, but onsite registrations will incur a late fee and must be paid by credit card.
Can I get a delegate list?
There is no fixed attendee list, but the conference app makes it easy to connect with others on your terms.
Here is how it works:
- Opt-in profiles – Attendees can choose to create a visible profile and share their details.
- Digital handshakes – Instantly exchange contact info with other delegates in the app.
- Export your connections – After the event, download an Excel file with the contact details of everyone you have connected with.

Program & Abstracts
When will the program be released?
The full program will be released in November 2025. In the lead-up to the full release, we will:
- Announce main stage speakers progressively
- Share the program structure and themes to provide insight into key focus areas
Will the program change?
Yes, the program may be updated based on speaker confirmations and unforeseen circumstances. The latest version will always be available on the program page.
When are call for abstracts open and close dates?
The call for abstracts will open on 20 May 2025. Submissions are expected to close on 11 August 2025.

What abstracts is the Program Committee interested in?
The Program Committee (PC) aims to create a program that addresses current challenges in the energy sector and explores how the sector may evolve in the future. Themes will be announced in May 2025. Abstracts should focus on:
- Current challenges and future trends in the energy sector.
- New research, case studies, or industry insights.
- Practical takeaways, lessons learned, and real-world applications.
- Case studies are highly regarded.
Abstract Submission Guidelines
- Be exclusive to EN26 (not previously presented at another Australian conference).
- Must be technically correct and include original material.
- Previous presentations can be used if updated with new content.
How do I submit an abstract?
Abstracts must be submitted via the EN26 online submission portal (hard copies will not be accepted). You will need to:
- Complete the online submission form
- Provide a title, abstract summary, and key takeaways
- Ensure your submission meets the word limit and format guidelines
- Submit before the deadline (11 August 2025)
A confirmation email will be sent once your abstract is successfully submitted.
When will I know if my abstract is accepted?
Notifications are expected to be sent by 26 September 2025. You will receive an email confirmation regarding the outcome of your submission.
- Accepted oral abstracts will be invited to present in a concurrent session at EN26.
Do I need to register if my abstract is accepted?
Yes, all presenters (including those selected for concurrent sessions and the EN26 Poster Series) must register and pay to attend the conference.
- Accepted abstract presenters can register at a discounted rate.
- Details on pricing and deadlines will be provided upon acceptance.
Presenters who do not register by the required deadline of 10 October 2025 may have their abstract withdrawn from the program.
Who reviews abstracts?
The Program Committee (PC), composed of senior representatives from Energy Networks Australia, ENA member organisations, and industry and academic experts, will conduct a blind review of all abstracts.
What are my options for travel and accommodation?
Are there preferred hotels?
Yes, we have secured exclusive attendee rates at hotels near the Adelaide Convention Centre. Booking links will be available on the website.
What do I need to know about booking flights?
Attendees are responsible for booking their own flights. Adelaide is well-connected with domestic and international airlines, with direct flights available from major Australian cities.
Do international attendees need a visa to attend?
International attendees (except Australians and New Zealanders) must obtain a visa before traveling to Australia.
How and when to apply for a visa?
- Register for EN26 – You will receive a confirmation letter to support your visa application.
- Apply through the Department of Home Affairs – Business Visitor Visa.
- It is recommended that you apply at least 6 weeks before your arrival.

How do I become a sponsor?
Sponsorship opportunities are available at a range of levels, each offering a variety of benefits. Sponsorship packages are allocated according to the sponsorship terms and conditions.

How do I book an exhibition booth?
To book a booth, email partnerships@energynetworks.com.au for details on pricing, floor plan, and availability. The exhibition sold out in 2024, so early booking is recommended to secure a spot in the Innovation Hall.
How do exhibitors register?
All exhibitors will receive an Exhibitor Information Kit via email with important details on booth logistics and the registration process.
How many passes are included with an exhibition booth?
Each booth includes a set number of Innovation Hall Booth Passes for staff, depending on booth size. For full details, refer to the Exhibitor Kit or request the prospectus here.
Can exhibitors request additional passes?
Yes, additional Exhibitor Passes can be purchased:
- $400 per day
- $700 for both days
These passes provide access to the exhibition floor and exhibition-related functions but do not include conference sessions, Farewell Drinks & Connections or Wired—In Dinner (ticket sold separately).
Who can access the Innovation Hall?
Access is limited to registered full delegates, day delegates, speakers, and exhibitors. The Innovation Hall is not open to the public.
Can exhibitors invite guests to the Innovation Hall?
Yes, exhibitors can invite visitors for free access to the Innovation Hall on Thursday, 19 March 2026, from 0900–1130.
What should I expect at EN26, and how do I prepare?
When should I arrive and where do I collect my registration pack?
On arrival at the main east entrance, collect your name badge and lanyard at the kiosks.
- Welcome Drinks and Connections: Tuesday, 17 March 2026 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm inside the Innovation Hall. A name badge is required for entry.
- Innovation Hall Opens: Wednesday, 18 March 2026 at 7:30 AM.
- Conference Opening: Wednesday, 18 March 2026 at 8:30 AM in Hall C.
Important:
- Name badges are non-transferable between delegates.
- Badges will not be reprinted—please bring yours each day.
What is the dress code?
Smart business attire is recommended for the conference.
